EMDR Therapy Online in Hong Kong: What It’s Like

EMDR helps the brain process stuck memories that keep anxiety, nightmares or hyper-vigilance going. Online delivery is effective and lets you work from a private, familiar space.

Trauma/PTSD, single-incident events, medical or birth trauma, complicated grief, shame memories, and performance blocks.

What a typical EMDR plan includes

  • Stabilise: calming skills and safe place imagery.

  • Target: we identify memories or themes to process.

  • Process: bilateral stimulation (eye movements, taps, or tones) while we check your level of distress and keep within your window of tolerance.

  • Consolidate: install new beliefs and coping strategies.

How EMDR works online

We use on-screen visual cues or audio tones. You control the pace; I monitor and pause often. Many clients prefer online EMDR for comfort and flexibility.
